About Me: I am only 17 years old (gasp shock horror i know.). I try to be friendly but am a tiny bit awkward sometimes and it can sometimes cause a situation to worsen when im trying to help. I love writing when i can get into it and i have a tendency to make long and overly detailed backstories for characters due to this. I also love to play video games whenever one catches my eye, usually an FPS, RPG, or a Puzzle game with RPG elements ( <3 Undertale <3 ). I watch alot of TV shows online and usually can tell you something about most (though my knowledge of anime is mostly superficial). I grew up with a copy of Pokemon Yellow when i was a small child, then i got Crystal and so forth. I have played all of the generations of games and have owned and played through every game from Diamond and Pearl onwards (with the exceptions of Black and White 2, which i never had any sort of interest for.). This, combined with the Pokemon anime being the only thing i could really watch when i was younger, caused me to become about the closest thing to a PokeManiac that can exist IRL. I can name you any Pokemon by silhouette alone and while i may not be able to tell you what their weight or cry is, i took to the battle system like a duck to water.
RPG Experience: I enjoy Tabletop games alot, and since in recent years the stream of video games i have been interested in has waned i have gotten into playing more and more tabletop games as of late. I first got into RPGs when i was 13, after me and a friend had heard about D&D 3.5 and thought it sounded fun. We went online and eventually found a game to play in, however it quickly fell apart. Nowadays i mostly play Pathfinder and occasionally Mutants and Masterminds.
Pokemon Tabletop Experience: When i caught wind of PTU, i was curious. So i dug up the PTU forums from the dark recesses of the internet and downloaded the sourcebooks from the twitter. This game was love at first sight for me since Pokemon is one of my favorite things, and i was completely stoked to find a game to play in. Then i checked Roll20 and saw that there was only one game open . I applied for the game and got rejected but that didn't stop me from trying over and over until i got into one. Meanwhile, i had been browsing the PTU forums and reading up on the system. Because of the basic battling system being roughly the same I was able to pick it up rather quickly and once i finished that I began to try searching the Union Room for games. I have never played PTA since the system alwways seemed too complicated and restrictive to be fun. Sadly i have no experience with Play-By-Post games since i have up until this point played only with Live formats such as Roll20.
